X-SMART 3 -The leading desktop high speed FDM printer-

X-SMART 3 is a compact desktop FDM 3D printer equipped with a number of smart features and capable of extremely fast print speeds. Being the least expensive of the three models from the latest QIDI lineup, the X-SMART 3 shares many key features with the more advanced and , providing users with professional print quality and ease of use at an affordable price. The machine comes fully assembled and ready to use out of the box. The enclosed build chamber and removable transparent top cover allow creating the most suitable printing environment for various filaments.

The CoreXY structure of the printer allows reducing inertia and achieving print speeds of up to 500 mm/s. Such a fast speed usually leads to increased vibrations and, consequently, quality loss, but the X-SMART 3 uses resonance compensation function to prevent this issue and retain decent print quality. The same carbon rods on the X-axis, as used on the X-MAX 3 and X-PLUS 3, alongside a new lightweight extruder, significantly reduce the weight of the printhead and the X-axis, which also allows for smoother movements.

The X-SMART 3 runs on Klipper firmware and uses a 64-bit Cortex A53 processor with 1.5 GHz frequency, 8 GB eMMC and 1 GB DDR3. The machine features auto bed leveling with a sensor that calibrates the bed in 16 points. To save time and material, the X-SMART 3 has a print recovery function, which allows resuming printing after a power outage.

The build volume of 180 x 180 x 170 mm is suitable for printing small to medium parts and is enough for most consumer projects. To make the printing process more convenient, the enclosure features integrated LED lights.

The 4.3″ color LCD touchscreen of the X-SMART 3 features an intuitive user interface and allows operating the printer. The machine supports Wi-Fi connection and is equipped with a USB slot.
