Cleaning and Post-curing

Cleaning For Standard resin:

  1. Step1, Spray with Isopropanol, then blow resin away with cool wind.
  2. Step2, Prepare two containers with Isopropanol (alcohol> 95%), and place the jobs into the first container and slightly shake it, then soak in the second container for about 1 minute (dental resin should not exceed 30 seconds).
  3. Step3, Flush with water before dry it, do make it sure it ‘s 100% dried as residuary alcohol may cause white spot or crack on jobs.

Post-curing:

  1. The curing time is proportional to the volume of the work piece and inversely proportional to the optical power of the curing chamber. Example: 100 watt LED curing box, jewelry jobs is recommended to be cured with soaking in water for 20-30 minutes.
  2. The post-cure time of dental casting resin, dental non-casting resin and jewelry mold resin shall not be more than 5 minutes.
  3. Work-pieces should be in the water during post-curing to prevent deformation especially for dental and jewelry.
  4. Don’t forget to use cool air to dry it after post-curing.

Printing Parameters

  1. These series works perfectly on most brand LCD printer, and fast printing on DLPs.
  2. For LCD printer, bottom layer 30-70s and each layer exposure time 4-12s, for example, layer thickness 50 micron on Anycubic printer, base 50s while each layer 8s.
  3. For DLP printer, bottom 10-15s and each layer 1-6s.
  4. The exposure time should be adjusted according to printer light energy, layer thickness and model structure.

LCD Resin

Warning：

  1. This material should not be in contact with eyes, skin or clothing, and should not be tasted or eaten.
  2. If you accidentally touch your eyes or skin, immediately rinse with water for about 20 minutes and seek medical advice if necessary.
  3. Please pay attention to air circulation and take protective measures when using. Wash thoroughly after handling.
  4. The product is in a liquid state with a slight odor. Wear a mask and gloves.
  5. The product should be stored in a sealed container. After use, it should be filtered and keep back in bottle on time and placed in a dry and well ventilated place. It should not be exposed to sunlight.
  6. Shake well before use, and leave it for 30 minutes to eliminate air bubbles that generated during the shaking process.
  7. The ambient temperature is recommended to be controlled at 25-30 degrees Celsius, and during the printing should avoid any lights.
  8. Dispose of waste in accordance with local environmental regulations.
  9. Storage environment: Store in cool and dry place, and avoid sunlight, recommended temperature at 25-30 degrees Celsius.

Solution to Supper-Clear Resin model

1.Clean the model with Alcohol(IPA is better). Please control the clean time within two minutes.
2.Blow-dry the model surface with a air gun.
3.Water or glycerin cure less than 20s.
4.Polish and oil the model.

Attention :

1. 1.Put the model into 50-60℃ water for 2 hours can help relieving yellowing parts or even bring back to a full clear model.

2. Clear resin is more sensitive to chain reaction. Please control your amount of usage and save the used and new resin separately.

NOTE: The setting of exposure time

1.The exposure time should be adjusted according to printer light energy, layer thickness and model structure.

   If the layer height less than 50um, we suggest the exposure time of each layer will be deducted about 2s.

2.Bottom layer count: base thickness / each layer thickness +1

   e.g. base thickness 0.4mm, each layer thickness 50um, then the layer count = 0.4/0.05+1= 9 layers.

3.When printing with ordinary FEP/NFEP film, the recommended lifting distance as below:

    Less than 7” screen size, lifting distance: 6mm；

     7-10”screen size, lifting distance: 8-10mm;

     10.1”screen size, lifting distance: 11mm；

     13.3”screen size, lifting distance: 14mm;

     15”screen size, lifting distance: 15mm.

      When printing with fast printing film, lifting distance can be decrease 30-50%.

      e.g. lifting speed was 80 (mm/min) at regular film, you can adjust to 40-60(mm/min) while using ACF film.

4.Recommended exposure time:

Notice: White and yellow of the printed model do not effect the casting results. Uneven color may show if you print thick models.
